Quaid-e-Azam
Quaid-e-Azam, whose real name was Muhammad Ali Jinnah, is the founder of Pakistan. He was born on 25th December 1876 in Karachi. He was a great leader, a smart lawyer, and a kind person who worked hard for the Muslims of India.
Quaid-e-Azam studied in England and became a lawyer. When he returned to India, he joined politics and started working for the rights of Muslims. He believed that Muslims and Hindus were two different nations, and they should have separate countries. He gave the idea of a new country called Pakistan where Muslims could live freely and follow their religion.
Because of his strong leadership, Pakistan became an independent country on 14th August 1947. He became the first Governor-General of Pakistan.
Quaid-e-Azam died on 11th September 1948, but he will always live in our hearts. We call him “Baba-e-Qaum” (Father of the Nation) because he gave us our beloved country.
We love and respect Quaid-e-Azam for his great work and leadership.
